Where You Been?
The lack of updates is not because I don't have anything to talk about. On the contrary, I have too much to talk about -- Obama's victory, Proposition 8, Waltz with Bashir, the Oscar race, Noah and the Whale, etc etc etc.
I don't know where to begin, and I don't know when I'll begin. But, rest assured, it will begin. Soon. I think.

Hey, I forgot to tell you I saw Synecdoche and I was deeply, deeply moved by the experience. I took a large group to the movie and oddly enough, they all loved it also. I thought for sure I was going to be berated by digruntled movie-goers expecting something at least as conventional as Eternal Sunshine. Ebert's recent write-ups about the film have been really rewarding to read, as critical reception has been so very mixed. Anyways, I'd love to go more in depth with your thoughts on the film.
